LiDAX Ultra 1000
Great helper
It's very easy to setup and so far so good. Lidar is a game changer. It mapped my whole block, so for sure it knows exactly where it is. Object recognition still needs some work and it's not a fire-and-forget. But I haven't had to mow the lawn myself so far this year and so that's huge. Overall quality looks well made and having the garage included is a big plus. Price is unbeatable too. There are some minor software improvements that I hope they implement. The edges are whatever you did while mapping, and so it would be great to be able to edit them and make them straight.

I love my Mova LiDAR mower
I love my Mova mower. I’ve not had too many issues. It reliably mows my front and backyards three times per week. I purchased two units, one for each yard due to my backyard fence. About once a week it will fail to dock. I’ve noticed the dock is not fully rigid so the charging contacts sometimes have to be manually repositioned when the dock flexes out of position. Other than that it works great. Battery life could be improved for the 1000 model but it generally gets the job done. Edge trimming is pretty good and the LiDAR and obstacle avoidance work really well. It’s a well-designed product and I suspect I’ll stick to this brand over time. Setup is very easy and I was able to map everything correctly on my first attempt.

Works Flawlessly Day or Night
I’ve been really impressed with the Mova Lidar Ultra 1000 so far. Even though my lawn is uneven, it handled the terrain great without any issues. The LiDAR navigation works very well — it consistently avoided obstacles while mowing, which gave me a lot of confidence just letting it do its job. One of the features I found especially useful is the built-in security functionality. It adds peace of mind knowing the mower has protections in place. I was also able to mow at night without any problems, which is a huge plus for flexibility. Overall, it’s been a very smooth experience. I’ll continue using it and plan to update this review in a few months to share how it performs over time, but so far, so good.

It is working well
It is working well. At first I tried to set up the base on some concrete about 3 feet away from the grass in a more protected area, but after 5 attempts to make a pathway to the base from the grass, I moved the base to a spot next to the grass, and the software liked that position. I have almost 500sq meters of lawn (in the back - in one zone) and the robot needs to charge 3 times to finish the area. It takes 4-5 hours....but I'm not the one mowing. It has figured out where the trees are and works its way around the trees now. The first time I used it was during the day, and the dogs kept interrupting it, but later on it went back and cut the areas where the dogs had interfered. I mow at night now when the dogs are inside. It is very quiet. I have another 500sq/m in the front and side of my house (6 zones), and I have been hesitant to buy a second robot due to fears of theft.....we live at the entrance to our development. I'll see how I feel about it in a couple of months after I have to mow the front and side. Overall, if I buy a second robot, I'll get another Mova 1000. It is nice to not have to set up an antenna and that it works in the dark.

Doing great so far
Doing great so far. Cuts closer to the trees than I did. Still needs refining on the map.

So far I love this thing. I don’t have to cut the grass anymore and my yard looks great!
