Warranty FAQs
Q: If my product is replaced, does the warranty restart?
A: No. Any repaired or replaced product will continue to be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period and will not restart or extend a new warranty term, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Q: What happens if my product is out of warranty?
A: Out-of-warranty service may be available for a fee. MOVA may offer repair services or replacement parts for purchase, at MOVA's reasonable discretion, subject to product availability and service feasibility. Please contact our support team for further assistance.
Q: Do I need proof of purchase?
A: A valid proof of purchase is strongly recommended to verify warranty eligibility and the applicable Warranty Period. If valid proof of purchase or delivery confirmation is not available, MOVA may determine warranty eligibility based on other information reasonably available, including the product serial number and product records. In such cases, the Warranty Period may be calculated in accordance with this Limited Warranty. Products for which eligibility cannot be reasonably verified may be treated as out-of-warranty, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Q: Can I transfer my warranty?
A: No. This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original end-user purchaser, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
Q: How long does repair take?
A: Repair times are estimates only and typically range from 7–14 business days after the product is received and evaluated. Actual turnaround time may vary depending on product condition, diagnostic results, and parts availability. MOVA does not guarantee specific completion times.
Q: Will I receive a new or refurbished product?
A: Replacement units may be new or certified refurbished units, at MOVA’s discretion. All refurbished units are tested to meet applicable functional and quality standards prior to replacement.
Q: Is the battery covered?
A: Yes. Battery packs are covered under the Limited Warranty for the period specified in the Product-Specific Warranty Table.
Battery performance naturally degrades over time through normal use, and such normal capacity reduction is not considered a defect in materials or workmanship.
Q: Will my data or settings be saved during repair?
A: No guarantee is made regarding data retention. Products may be reset to factory settings during service, and all stored data, maps, or custom settings may be erased. Customers are responsible for backing up any important information before sending the product for service.
Q: Will a replacement be shipped before I return my product?
A: No. Unless otherwise determined by MOVA in its discretion, replacement products will not be shipped until the original product has been received and evaluated.
